AhlulBayt News Agency: The prayer leader of Aqqala County in Iran’s Golestan province emphasized the importance of unity among different Islamic denominations across the world.
Akhoond Abdul Razaq Rahbar made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation of senior Bangladeshi scholars who were visiting Iranian religious and political officials.
He stated, “The call by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and all messengers of God has always been to preserve unity because, without unity, tyranny will prevail.”
Rahbar referenced the historical account of Nimrod ordering his people to gather wood to burn Prophet Abraham (PBUH). He highlighted how Abraham emerged from the fire unscathed, stating, “This is a divine promise that God Almighty saves His pious believers from tyrants and oppressors.”
The senior Iranian cleric also stressed the necessity of adhering to the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and AhlulBayt (the household of Prophet Mohammad), describing it as a fundamental Islamic principle. He added that this guidance was strongly emphasized by the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khomeini.
